City got our 2022/23 Premier League campaign off to the perfect start with a superb 2-0 victory away at West Ham.

It was also a day to remember for Erling Haaland with our summer signing marking his Premier League debut by claiming a brace of goals.

The Norwegian centre forward put City ahead by firing home from the penalty spot on 35 minutes after having been brought down in the box.

And Haaland then followed that up by superbly firing home from 15 yards on 65 minutes after being put through by Kevin De Bruyne.

With City also keeping a clean sheet, it all added up to fine opening day's work for Pep Guardiola's defending title holders.
