句型1 The woman has lost her dorm key.
這個女士弄丟了她的宿舍鑰匙。
have lost sth 已經丟失某物。這是在校園裡經常發生的事情，所以經常會用在會話中，人物丟失了什麼東西的時候的使用，lost (丟失了)，has lost(丟失了)。練習一下語法的基本規則——用第三人稱單數的句子。在校園丟失的物品有library card(圖書館卡)、student card(學生證)、meal coupon(餐券)等。
dorm 宿舍。在美國的很多大學裡，都設有為來自全美、全世界的學生準備的宿舍。在校園內的會話中，特別是宿舍內發生的事情也會成為話題。雖然正式的名稱是dormitory，但也經常簡稱為dorm。書面上也有寫residencehall, hall of residence的。其他常用的簡稱有grad school(大學院)=graduate school。

complain that 抱怨。當某人對某件事有不滿時，不要say(說)，而應使用「complain」，以此來表示對內容的態度。
too + adj. 太…。犯過火的錯誤。表示強調的時候和very的語氣一樣。
在口語表達中有too much後面形容詞和名詞都不加的用法。
That's too much! (已經夠了!)
She is too much. (對她已經失望了。)
The woman complains that her roommate is too loud/talkative/messy/immature.
這個女人抱怨她的室友太吵/太愛說話/太邋遢/太不成熟。
The woman complains that her professor is too busy/lazy/boring/biased.

句型3 The woman has to decide whether she should study more or drop the class.
這位女士必須決定是繼續學習還是放棄這門課。
decide whether 決定是否。某人在兩個選擇之間猶豫不決的時候使用。decide也可以使用choose(選擇)替換。同義詞組為make up one's mind(下定決心)，She has to make up her mind whether...。
drop a/the class 退課。a/ the class的drop是指在評價之前把課退掉。在上課相關的事情上可以使用的其他動詞有：pass a class(通過=拿到學分)、fail a class(掛掉=沒拿到學分)等。教師和大學方面取消授課(停課)的時候用cancel a class, The class is cancelled. 被動形式較多。
