根據2022國際數學家大會(ICM)官方網站消息。2022年被視為國際數學最高獎項的菲爾茲數學獎已經揭曉，共有4位數學家獲得殊榮。他們分別是:
就職於法國國際高等科學研究院的法國數學家度米尼爾-柯平(Hugo Duminil-Copin)，方向是概率論。
表彰其在統計物理學相變的概率理論中長期存在的問題的解法，特別是在三維和四維空間中。
Is awarded the Fields medal 2022 for solving longstanding problems in the probabilistic theory of phase transitions in statistical physics, especially in dimensions three and four.
就職於普林斯頓大學的韓裔美國數學家許埈珥(June Huh)，方向是組合幾何。
表彰其將霍奇理論的思想引入組合學、幾何格上的道林-威爾遜猜想的證明、擬陣上的海倫-羅塔-威爾斯猜想的證明、洛倫茲多項式理論的發展以及強梅森猜想的證明。
Is awarded the Fields medal 2022 for bringing the ideas of Hodge theory to combinatorics,the proof of the Dowling-Wilson conjecture for geometriclattices,the proof of the Heron-Rota-Welsh conjecture for matroids,the development of the theory of Lorentzian polynomials,and the proof of the strong Mason conjecture.
就職於牛津大學的英國數學家 梅納德(James Maynard)，方向是數論。
表彰其對解析數理論的貢獻，這些貢獻在理解素數結構和丟番圖近似方面取得了重大進展。
Is awarded the Fields medal 2022 for contriibutions to analytic numbertheory,which have led to major advances in the understanding of the structure of prime numbers and in Diophantine approximation.
就職於瑞士洛桑聯邦理工學院的烏克蘭數學家維婭佐夫斯卡(Maryna Viazovska)，方向是組合幾何。
表彰其利用E8格證明了8維空間中的等體球體最密堆積問題，以及對相關的極值問題和傅立葉分析中插值問題的貢獻。
Is awarded the Fields medal 2022 for the proof that the E8 lattice provides the densest packing of identical spheres in 8 dimensions, and further contributions to related extremal problems and
interpolation problems in fourier analysis.
