4月24—27日，第四屆聯合國世界數據論壇在浙江杭州舉辦。本屆論壇有100多個國家和地區的1000餘名代表線下參會，超過8000人線上參會。論壇由聯合國發起並主辦，國家統計局和浙江省人民政府聯合承辦。
The 4th United Nations World Data Forum opened in Hangzhou, the capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, on April 24. The forum will last until Thursday. More than 1,600 representatives from over 130 countries and regions will attend the forum on-site, while online activities will attract more than 8,000 participants. The forum is organized by the United Nations and co-hosted by the National Bureau of Statistics and the government of Zhejiang Province.

舉辦聯合國世 界數據論壇是落實2030年可持續發展議程的重要舉措。前三屆論壇分別於2017年、2018年和2021年在南非開普敦、阿聯杜拜和瑞士伯爾尼舉辦。4月24日，第四屆聯合國世界數據論壇在杭州開幕。論壇主題口號是「擁抱數據 共贏未來」。
首次在亞太區舉辦的本屆論壇，聚焦四個主題——數據創新與合作、挖掘數據價值、提高數據公信力、構建良好數據生態，交流切磋新形勢下統計和數據生產面臨的新機遇、新挑戰。中國共提交約100個議題，議題總數占全球總量的四分之一。除了開幕式和閉幕式外，中國國家統計局將以「用數據決策、用數據治理、用數據創新的新機遇和新挑戰」為主題舉辦全體會議，聯合國也將組織5場其他全體會議。同時，通過圓桌論壇、專家研討、主題演講等多種組織形式，設置了72場平行會議及學習交流等特別活動。本屆論壇還開闢展覽展示區域，總面積約2000平方米，分為「全球視界、中國智慧統計、數字浙江、杭州實踐、數據產業」5個板塊。
此外，為期四天的論壇將發布成果《杭州宣言》，呼籲全球統計和數據界加快行動，制定與開普敦可持續發展全球行動計劃相一致的數據管理方法，促進數據創新和夥伴關係，使其能夠滿足社會的需求。並呼籲各國和國際組織儘快並可持續地增加對數據和統計的資金投入。
